MUZOREWA RATSHIKUNI

Muzorewa is a mechanical engineer who started his career as engineer in training at Sasol Mining.

At Sasol, he gained experience in the operation and maintenance of both underground mining and synthetic fuel plant optimisation. Muzorewa left Sasol to become a project engineer for Bateman Titaco, overseeing the design, building and commission of several large processing plants.

Muzorewa is responsible for logistics and project planning at Magatar.

In 2003 he founded Phangwa Mining (together with Messrs Venter and Lass), as a business which sought to make improvements to the productivity of coal mines. Phangwa Mining subsequently registered a patent in South Africa, in respect of the Linear Mining Methodology and related equipment.
